Usage

For a list of Blimp CLI commands, use blimp help.

$ blimp help

Login

blimp login is used to create or log into your Kelda Development Cloud account. blimp login opens a browser window with which you can authenticate. In Windows WSL, the browser window does not open automatically, and you will need to copy and paste the link blimp login outputs. blimp login must remain running until the browser login process is complete.

$ blimp help login
Log in to Kelda Blimp.

Kelda Blimp only uses your login to identify you, and doesn't pull any other information.

Up

blimp up deploys the docker-compose.yml in the current directory.

$ blimp help up
Create and start containers

Deploys the docker-compose.yml in the current directory.

Usage:
  blimp up [flags]

Flags:
  -f, --file string   Specify an alternate compose file (default "docker-compose.yml")
  -h, --help          help for up

Down

blimp down shuts down a cloud sandbox and removes all of its containers and volumes.

$ blimp help down
Delete your cloud sandbox.

All containers and volumes are removed.

PS

blimp ps prints the status of containers in the cloud sandbox.

$ blimp help ps
Print the status of services in the cloud sandbox

Usage:
  blimp ps [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for ps

SSH

blimp ssh starts a shell in a container running in the cloud sandbox. Despite its name, blimp ssh does not use ssh; the shell is transported over an encrypted TLS connection.

$ blimp help ssh
Get a shell in a service

Usage:
  blimp ssh SERVICE [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for ssh

Logs

blimp logs prints the logs of a container running in the cloud sandbox.

$ blimp help logs
Print the logs for the given services.

If multiple services are provided, the log output is interleaved.

Usage:
  blimp logs SERVICE ... [flags]

Flags:
  -f, --follow     Specify if the logs should be streamed.
  -h, --help       help for logs
  -p, --previous   If true, print the logs for the previous instance of the container if it crashed.
